BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY SATURDAY, MARCH 11, 2017 ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME COLD, DRY, AND WINDY Today’s temperatures have been much colder than normal. The minimum so far for the day was 7F, which occurred a few minutes before the 7:00 A.M. EST observation. By 1:00 P.M., the temperatures climbed to 18F. There is a possibility that we could tie the record for the coldest maximum temperature for this day if the temperature does not continue to warm above 20F. Dew points have also been very low. At 1:00 P.M., the dew point was -12F. This gave us a relative humidity of just 26%. Winds today have been increasing, mostly out of the WNW.
