Group Visits

Blue Hill Observatory hosts over 10,000 visitors each year and warmly welcomes groups of all kinds — school classes, scout troops, birthday parties, corporate teams, and community organizations. All group visits can be arranged any day of the week by appointment.

Group Tour Options

Multiple Concurrent Tours

For larger groups, up to 3 concurrent guided tours can run simultaneously in different parts of the building, allowing large parties to experience the Observatory in smaller, more intimate groups. Each tour group accommodates a maximum of 6 people from one household or 4 individuals.

Vehicle Access for Groups

If your group requires vehicle access up the summit road, please contact our Head of Facilities & Grounds in advance at 617-696-0562 or info@bluehill.org. You will receive specific instructions for your date, group, and vehicle(s). The Service Road is open to authorized vehicles only.
