The Blue Hill Observatory is not only a place of scientific discovery—it is also a place of creative exploration.
Located above the historic Observer’s Room, a dedicated space is being developed for our Artist-in-Residence Exhibit, where art and science meet at the summit.

The Space
The Artist-in-Residence Exhibit is located one level above the Observer’s Room—placing it at the heart of the Observatory’s scientific work while offering a new lens through which to experience it.
This setting reflects the Observatory’s identity as a living laboratory, where data, observation, and interpretation continuously evolve—not only through science, but through creative expression.
Artist-in-Residence Program
The exhibit is part of a broader Artist-in-Residence program that invites artists to engage deeply with the Observatory’s work, history, and datasets.
The Artist-in-Residence Exhibit will be included as part of the Observatory experience during public hours. Access details will be updated as the space opens.
