Quick showers and drizzle brought at least one brief downpour, totaling 0.14 inches of new rain, bringing May’s monthly total to now just 0.17 inches. Red flag warning and fire weather advisories are in place today with dry conditions this week. By the 1:00 PM EST observation temperatures have climbed to 83F with hazy conditions limiting visibility to 20 miles in all directions.
