Extensive work began June 2021 including much-needed concrete repair, historically appropriate door and window upgrades, lighting upgrades and more. The Observatory and grounds will be closed to the public until 2023.
Daily weather observations will continue, maintaining the Observatory as the site of the longest continuously held weather-record in the country.
